The hero within, looking for opportunity

Good Morning welcome back after the long weekend.

The Universe offers us choices and opportunities every day. There are the opportunities that are obvious, like a job offer, or a chance to make extra money or to go on a trip.

But there are opportunities that are also in disguise; as obstacles, things we fear, work.

Working through these challenges allows us to emerge in the reward.

I find that opportunity is waiting for me, to not be afraid, to go into the dark of the unknown, to let go of what is comfortable and familiar. It is a personal test, and the reward is immediate.

I have always been inspired by people who, despite insurmountable odds, make huge impacts on the world.

However, everyday heros fight sometimes invisible battles. The hardest fought are the wars within the self, the little things that keep us frozen in time. By overcoming the past to take charge of the future, to move forward in spite of the odds. To accept defeat, and try again, that makes you a hero.

I am the hero in my tale, my hurdles are minuscule compared to those of people like Helen Keller, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. but they inspire me.

What keeps you from accepting what you want?

Be the hero in your life.

Fear is an illusion, the shadow self, keeping us from the Light, and growth. Find faith in the Source, and Yourself. Be brave, create your dream and open your Spirit to opportunity.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.

Helen Keller
