Anger and the full moon

Good Morning everyone!

It is Full Moon time again. It will occur on the 23rd, which is Monday, but we are already feeling the effects of this as it awakens the water in our bodies....A time of release.

For more information, visit our daily web journal, archives Walking the Red Road for April and see the entry for the full moon and ideas for release.

For men and women, and children, Anger is one of the most avoided of the emotions. Our dysfunctional society endorses violence, but not the healthy release of anger.

The full moon rises "the tides" of emotion within us. It is a very natural time to surrender emotion.

We will not hear our inner voice if our inner child continues to rant, and disrupt our life.

There are healthy ways to release anger;  letter writing, rock throwing (into a river or stream!) crying, hitting pillows with the fists; whatever action allows the flood gates to open.

The flow of emotional energy, along with the verbal release clears the chakra's, or energy points in the body.  Some people believe disease is manifest from repressing negative, bad and unhealthy emotion. For more info go to;Chakra Test

The physical action of throwing, yelling, crying, sobbing,  hitting pillows makes us breathe. The body, trying to stop emotional release, will hold the breath. The physical exertion allows the breath to flow, in turn, opening these energy points.

As everything starts to flow the negative energy is released. Surrendering to this leaves us feeling tired, but relieved. Clearer, able to hear the voice of reason.

(For those of you with severe trauma or depression, it is best to consult with a licensed professional, some of which specialize in anger issues.)

Imagine, giving these emotions their time every month. Once this "healing" begins, it will become less frequent, and less intense, as we focus on specific issues and just allow the feelings to be carried away.

Releasing them to Creator, renewing our faith in the Source, the Universe.

Here is the thought for the day!

Creator, Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the Courage, to change the things I can, and

the Wisdom to know the difference.

Namaste,
