Normal- it's relative....

Good Morning!
We are so driven by the majority, that we are afraid to be authentic.
 
To swim against the tides of normal..to dare to be unique....We are afraid to be un-normal.
Afraid of what others will think.....
 
Normal is relative and dictated by the majority.
 
Our uniqueness messes with other peoples reality...it makes them look at their own un-normalness or inability to be authentic and THAT makes them uncomfortable and critical....
 
If we dared to be un-normal-  we may see how ridiculous and unmanageable our lives have become- that if we stopped long enough, we would question our life and ask-What the hell am I doing?
 
Dare to be your own majority.

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus

Hello all!!
 
Now the fun begins...wrapping.... checking the list twice....making sure you didn't forget anyone...
 
During the midst of this try to remain present.
It's so easy to get caught in the "Have to do's" that we forget to enjoy who we're with, and the joy of buying the gift that will carry your energy and Love to the recipient...
 
So busy planning and preparing that we are too tired to enjoy the party....
 
Breathe...
Laugh....
Enjoy...
Relax....
 
The Holidays are a time of  Magic, Miracles, gathering, celebrating and gratitude...
The best present is to stay present.....lol

Francis P. Church’s editorial, “Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” was an immediate sensation, and went on to became one of the most famous editorials ever written. It first appeared in the The New York Sun in 1897, almost a hundred years ago, and was reprinted annually until 1949 when the paper went out of business.

The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not there.

Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.

You tear apart the baby’s rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived could tear apart.

Only faith, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond.

Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in allthis world there is nothing else real and abiding.

No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives and lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay 10 times 10,000 years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.

Peace of Winter Solstice to you

Good Morning,
 
Today is Winter Solstice, the origin of the word Solstice, which comes from Latin solstitium, from sol, “sun” and -stitium, “a stoppage.”
 
Today is the Beginning of Winter, the shortest day and the longest night.
 
It is a time for all things to die, to hibernate.
 
This year it is also occurring during the New Moon which allows us to finally put many things in our lives to rest.
 
It is not uncommon to see that this is a time of year when many people chose to cross over to the Blue Road of Spirit..It is a perfect time for death to occur...
 
Allow for the things that are no longer fitting to leave your life; purposefully allow them to "die" so we can begin to create new and better things for ourselves..to be brought out in the Spring.....
 
By using these natural cycles, we will feel in sync with the world. 
 
It's when we deny these transitional times that we feel scattered and out of balance.
 
The Universe is trying to right the things out of balance for us, so don't fight it, allow the natural times of death and rebirth to create the current...and enjoy the ride.

Aare elders always older?

Good Morning All!!
 
I was in the drugstore the other day, and three girls were in line behind me..2 were friends about 12 and one was a "little sister" about seven years old.
 
The older girl was saying to the little one..You're stupid, Santa hates you, why would anyone want to buy you a present you're so ugly....
 
It's amazing how time can stand still long enough for us to have a vision....
 
It was 1976...I was 13 and having one of a litany of bullying sessions  with my sister about her wearing my clothes.... I was superior, and I tried to make her feel bad....I don't think I could have been crueler...She always complied, and never fought back.....
 
As time progressed, she seemed to be always making concessions for others, taking the path of least resistance....she showed me that you don't always have to have a confrontation to emerge the winner...
In observing her growth into womanhood and her deep spiritual commitment, she has become an elder; who I depend on to bring me into balance.....to get a different perspective from my own....She still listens to me when I'm not at my best, and brings me into focus.
 
I turned to the girls in the drugstore and said "I have a little sister, who I treated very badly when she was younger..What you say can affect her for the rest of her life..and today, I am  very sorry for that.....because I found out later that she was perfectly awesome and it was me who needed her."
 
The little one gave me a wink...
 
I really think she is much wiser than her sister knows...today....

Good Morning!!
The best part of the Daily thoughts are the confirmations I receive from you guys...
Changing awareness so that you see the nuance of Spirit at work in your daily lives.

Thank you for being a part of my life!!
Everyday I experience something amazing and I always think if it wasn't for my friend Marianne I wouldn't have the faith that I am building stronger and stronger everyday. 
 
 I have to tell you about my amazing situation that happened to me on Saturday.
I was at Marc's in North Olmsted and taking my good old time down each aisle. 
I was down the candy aisle when this elderly man approached me and said
"I don't mean to bother you, but I was wondering if you happened to see cup-of-soup while you were floating around these aisle's?" 
I told him no, and started talking to him. 
He then repeated "I don't want to bother you by taking up your time but I just have to tell you " You have the most beautiful smile I have ever seen", 
And me being shy, thanked him of course, and he was like " no I mean it"  "you have such a pretty smile and you made my day, you really did, you made my day"
 
After he left I felt like I was on air and I started to cry,
I felt so joyful at that moment and actually he made my day. 
I wanted to find him to see if he found his cup-of-soup,
but HE WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. 
God sure does work wonders, and so do his angels!!!

It's a Wonderful Life

 Good Morning!!

I want to that all of you for being part of my life...For your words of encouragement and support.....Thank you for coming into my journey....

I wish all of you Love and Peace in this Holiday season, and for those you Love.

There are times in all of our lives, where we feel that life is cruel and the road is long...

It's not always easy to see the beauty that is our life. We feel we have not made an impact, that our journey is without purpose and in vain....

When I'm feeling this way, I watch "It's a Wonderful Life"...

My favorite part is where all the prayers for George are being heard by God...... they send an Angel as an answer to those prayers...

George is a man, who has expectations, dreams and aspirations, but they are always being positioned to do something else...To put his dreams away to take up responsibility.  

Finally... one day, faced with impending doom, he looks back at the regret and missed opportunities of his life, the seeming insurmountable dilemma facing him, and sees that killing himself would be the best way to leave everyone in a better financial place, since he had a life insurance policy.  

So, down to the river he goes ... he stands looking into the water, and out of nowhere, into the river jumps another man...

Being the man he is, George jumps in to save him. Even in his most desperate hour, he looks beyond himself to instinctively do the higher thing.  

After pulling the man to safety, the man, Clarence, innocent and odd, tells him that he is an Angel, sent to show him the beauty that is his life. He must convince and help George in order to get his "wings".  

George tells the Angel, that it would have been better if had not been born at all, AND SO IT WAS....  

As his reality is unraveled, life without him ever existing was decadent, seedy and without love, compassion and joy...The town he loved and the people were suffering and unhappy...without his small interventions in their life.. 

For the ripple effect of his life in this existence, had impacts that even he could not comprehend.  

George does not like what he sees, and realizes that he indeed has a Wonderful life, and whatever he is facing is better that never existing at all...

George wanted to go back, he had seen enough, but he lost Clarence the Angel.

So down to the river he goes, and it is there that he steps back into his reality. 

He hurries home, to find that, in his hour of need, when he had felt so alone, the man who helped everyone unconditionally, forgot to ask when he was in need.   

Here came everyone he ever helped, willing to give to the man who had so selflessly gave to them. 

Even people who he didn't know, saw this outpouring of love and gave too.  

And on top of the pile of money was the book "Tom Sawyer" from the Angel Clarence inscribed;

Inspiration and Creativity

Good Morning,

I can't tell you how many times I have been Inspired but stopped there....
 
Sometimes, it is best with the creative process to just start.... our analytical human self starts preparing and planning, and that is where it ends...
 
Being creative starts with just starting, and it will just evolve as it goes...
By beginning..others notice our progress and begin to get inspired themselves....
 
 
The next part isn't really visible until we open ourselves to just allowing it to become....to breathe...to allow for inspiration....
 
This goes for any new thing that we are creating from a new path in life to art.....
 
Just starting... with no destination in mind... opens us to the Divine inspiration, and the creation energies....
 
All the Universe is waiting for is us to begin........
 
Here is the Thought for the day!
 
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure,
to embrace the new.
 
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
 
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting,
for in movement there is life,

Why Thoughts?

Good Morning!
 
I started writing these thoughts for the day in order to get all of us to look at life and it's daily challenges with a Spiritual eye, seeing that there are Spiritual solutions to our daily challenges..
I use myself as an example because we are all Mirrors for each other, in our strengths and weaknesses.
Being a human on a Spiritual journey and I share my experiences,  So we can all take that part that we can see in our own life, and get a new perspective.
.
Some days, they speak to you and some days they may not, but that is the beauty of story telling......
I always say that perspective is like a round room with many windows, all of us have a different view of that room, none of which are wrong...just different..
 
Finding the courage to walk around and go to another's perspective is a skill that is developed; being able to remove the ego of our view being right; it broadens our scope of understanding....
Thank you, for coming to my window and having the courage to look at things in a different way.

Prophecy

 
Happy Friday!!!!!
The other day, some religious messengers came to my door, to warn me of the coming of the end of the world.
I don't think they expected me to agree, however and I'm sure I'm on the "don't-go-to that-house- again" list...lol.
 
There are many prophecies, many visions of the world, as we know it coming to an end.
 
Not necessarily in the literal sense, but in visions, such as the book of Revelations, in the new testament.
 
The Hopi, who are the Keepers of knowledge have prophesied the ending of the 4th world of separation- separation from Creator, being utterly human, the world, satisfied need with the material things, and no need for things of Spirit.- and we will begin to enter the Fifth world of Peace.. During the transition, there will be much upheaval as with any transition.
 
All visions need to be interpreted.
Visions are the way the Universe shows us what is going on in our reality.
 
The search for so many to a simpler, more meaningful life, of searching spiritually is also part of the prophecy.
 
The time for change, the time for Peace and Love;to care for Our Mother Earth
The time is now.

Personal accountability

Greetings,
The state of affairs in our society (as prophesied) is changing.
 
More than ever it's imperative that we become accountable...
 
Unburden the system through accountability.
First, accountable for ourselves....
Then our family....
Then our community....
Then globally.....
 
Everything we do affects someone other than our self....
 
That is a huge statement....
Every choice affects someone else....
 
Your mood, the things we say, the things we do are all perceived by others...impacting them even on an energy level.
 
How many times do we get affected by the random selfish acts of others?
Only because they are thinking of no one other than themselves at any given moment?
 
The other day, we were at the gas station and a man threw all of his garbage out of the window in the parking lot...The kids were horrified, who was going to clean that up?
I doubt he was thinking about that, or that he had such a profound affect on them.
 
But, I send my garbage out to the curb every week, I don't really know where it goes, or the impact that has on my garbage man, or the landfill that I'm sure it goes to... because as long as it's not in my house, who cares?
 
It seems extreme, but the consciousness of recycling, using less, wasting less, would eventually make a difference....
 
It takes courage to look at the way we live in the third person, from a higher perspective..
 
Be accountable...take responsibility for who you are and what influence you have in your own life and the lives of those we love...
 
If enough of us did just that simple action, it would change the world....

Remembering Success

Greetings to all!!!
In preparing for leaps and risks, I have recently found it necessary to scrutinize my past in order to plan for the next adventure..
 
Having to look at the minute details of successes and failures in order to compile a plan for the future can make your stomach turn....
 
We are so good at reviewing where we have been with a critical eye and forget to look at the achievements with the same gusto.
 
We are already a success, by overcoming challenges, taking risk, learning lessons, being open to new ideas.... by trying in spite of the odds.
 
Giving ourselves credit for all the things we did right... seems selfish and uncomfortable...
 
Until we can look in retrospect with pride and with a sense of accomplishment, we will not be able to look forward to new adventures.

Saturn retrograde and the Full Moon- what a Day!

Good Morning everyone!
I have had a few very perceptive people on our list email me about planetary weirdness...
 
They are right!!
 
Saturn went retrograde and it is the so called "taskmaster" of the solar system.
It went retrograde Dec 5 and will continue till April.
It means we will be held accountable to our existence.
Here is a blurb from the Internet regarding Saturn Retrograde:

"Saturn retrograde is probably the least pleasant influence around.          Saturn is a hard-nosed, Mr. Brass Tacks himself, the teacher with the big ruler that insists you dot all your I's and cross all your T's before recess. He teaches us about responsibility and claiming our authority in the world, a class (Character Building 101) many of us would rather skip. Needless to say, this kind of discipline and skill is very useful later, even though the cycle itself is rough to get through."

So let's use this to our advantage and just stay focused, and don't take anything personally.

In addition, the full moon is TODAY so we are feeling the need to make changes, but because we are emotionally running high, we may try to push or rush things for our own agenda..

Remember, we ALL have an agenda, and be careful not to run over others just to fill our own need.

Peace of Winter to you

Good snowy Morning to all!!
 
Living in Cleveland, it seems like we go from summer to winter in one day...
Winter is ...a time of rest and reflection...
It's always a struggle to embrace Winter.
 
We try to keep going with our same routines, fighting the elements, trying to literally plough through to Spring...
 
Winter is purposeful, it is like a Death process, a finishing of the year, putting many things to rest, and allowing for the sleep of hibernation to allow us to rest and create.
 
Winter, in the Native American tradition, is governed by Buffalo; representing wisdom  and abundance. A time of listening for the guidance, reflection and purpose, resting, and planning for Spring; a time to bring all of our new ideas into the physical world.
 
It is about hibernation, or death-without dying.
 
It is a time of gratitude and returning that gratitude with selfless giving.
 
Buffalos can find food when many other animals cannot because they can move the snow with their massive head and shoulders to look for shoots and grasses; allowing other animals to eat also.
 
Buffalo signals a time of giving when times are scarce, sharing what we have so we may all endure this time of scarcity.
 
By being more cyclical, and using the seasons with purpose, we can create a more peaceful existence.. Also eating seasonally, will help us to fight illness, fatigue and depression..
 
Embrace your cave, don't over schedule, be grateful for the year past, and grateful to those who have been part of this years journey.
Be grateful for the lessons learned and the messengers who delivered then.
 
Find reasons to stay in or visit with friends and family, start a game night or a pot luck evening,  find time to volunteer.. and create some new Winter traditions.

It takes a Village

Happy Friday!!!
 
I am a firm believer that we need to be a village. It takes personal risk of getting involved, of stepping outside our problems and personal stuff and reach out to others.
 
We cannot exist alone, we are all at times in need of help and guidance. We need other, we need  people to give us new ways to look at things.
 
I volunteer a lot with children, I love the way they think, I love their imaginations.
 
I also believe that since I am more available during the day, I have a responsibility to be of service to those parents who have to work a job that does not give them the luxury of being able to spend time at school or at after school events.
I like to be of service to our underpaid overworked teachers, even if it's copying classroom stuff, just to help.
 
I've said the same things their parents would have said, eat your sandwich before the pudding... don't waste food, children are starving, be kind to each other ...lol
 
I just make myself available, to listen.. to allow them to be heard...sometimes it's about a pet that died, or a sandwich in their lunch that they hate, and sometimes it is about conflict resolution, and teaching them about compassion, by being compassionate.
 
I also like to hear their dreams, their aspirations, what interests them and to do things that stimulate their imaginations; making paper airplanes, making friendship bracelets, knitting, ceramics, storytelling... It makes me feel younger too...
 
Volunteerism makes us feel good, it improves our mood, and actually releases endorphins. There are many way to be of service.
Bloom where you're planted....

There are so many young people who are homeless.
They may have a building to live in, but they are homeless in their hearts.

Risk..it's worth it!

Greetings to All!!
 
Being who I am has it's advantages as well as it's disadvantages.
 
I am an Out-of-the-box kinda chick, and with that comes an element of risk.
 
If we want change, if we want new things in our life, it will involve risk.
 
To step out boldly from the crowd, to believe in who we are and what we are doing in order to facilitate change takes risk.
 
Embracing our ideas and beliefs will always draw attention from those who don't like change, or who cannot think out of the box...
but can we allow the opinions of others to stop us from trying?
 
The old me would have said "hell no!"
 
The new me moves to their perspective ,coming to see others points of view, then I take it into consideration and move forward anyway.
Even if it means occasionally modifying my original plan.lol
 
When we dare to try, we will not always be met with our own enthusiasm.
There are critics everywhere who's lives are stagnant because they are afraid to change.
 
Change anyway.

Just imagine.......

Good Morning All!!
 
Applying all this great spiritual stuff is not an easy task.
It all sounds good in theory;
Setting boundaries,
Loving unconditionally,
Speaking our truth.
 
It's not easy looking at our past..
our present and forgiving,
asking for forgiveness
admitting our mistakes.
 
It's not easy letting go of dread,
and fear,
and laughing
or playing
or putting off the to do list for just one day.
 
It's not easy, letting go,
of people
and behavior
that creates chaos and fear
and opening ourselves to the beauty of Peace, Love and Joy.
 
None of these things are easy,
but just imagine................
 
Here is the thought for the day
 
We look at some people as if they were special, gifted, divine.
Nobody is special and gifted and divine.
No more than you are, no more than I am.
The only difference, the very only one,
is that they have begun to understand what they really are

Be a Self Starter

 
Good Morning!
 
I like to think of myself as independent, however there  is still part of me that wants to be rescued, waiting for someone to notice when I am in need, and save me.
 
I went from a corporate career to being self employed.
When I worked for someone else, I had a supervisor tell me that I  was not a self starter,
Aghast! I was certain that they were very misinformed...
Until I started my own business and realized...they were right...ha!
 
Some days...I really want someone to tell me where to be at a certain time, what to do, take responsibility for the bottom line and just put in my 8 hours and go home..
I never thought I would ever admit that out loud, or to myself.....
 
But what this journey has taught me is that I must learn to be sustainable.
 
Physically..emotionally...financially...spiritually and otherwise.... 
 
I am the creator of my reality, and if I am suffering, it is by my own doing.....
 
There is no time to be a victim. I have people who love me and are willing to help but it is not their job to do the things for me that I am perfectly capable for doing for myself.
 
There is a Creative Force in me that can make this reality anything I want it to be as long as I see that with every hurdle, with every step into the unknown that I learn many things about who I am and what I am truly capable of.
 
This builds the confidence that makes me keep trying new things, and reduces my fear of the unknown, or fear of trying...
 
I am also an example; many are watching as I moving fearlessly through my life.
I have a responsibility to be an example, even if I fail.
Giving someone else the courage to try.
 
Failure is just an opportunity to try again, in a different way.
 
So, with that, I am going outside and changing that flat tire.
 
Wish me luck, I'm not as strong as I used to be,
but, I am stronger than I have ever been...

Holiday Frenzy

The media blitz is on...as the Holiday buying frenzy begins...
 
But does it really have to?
How much stuff do we really need?
Are we really asking ourselves what would be of value to family and friends?
What is the true purpose of all of these Holidays?
 
Solstice, the Festival of lights, the birth of Jesus.....
 
The sharing of Love and Peace with each other..giving for the joy of giving.
 
Getting together with friends and family,
Making gifts, stringing popcorn, embracing Winter..
Taking the opportunity to go through our excess and donate it to our brothers and sisters who are without...
Giving blankets to the homeless,
Volunteering at the food bank, or soup kitchen....
Being of service to an overworked Mom or Dad.
 
Really pondering..what do the ones I Love Need?
What do I have that I can share?
 
Now is a time to get creative...its easy to pull out your credit card at the store;
Giving our time, and our Love takes a little more effort, but the best gifts are the ones that come from the heart.

Giving Thanks

Good Morning!
The national day of thanks is upon us, all the preparation for a feast is underway..
 
It takes effort to be grateful every day, it takes being still and present to think about all the things that helped us to change, to help us to survive, to help us to feel loved...
 
Gratitude for these things and experiences extends an opportunity for us to give, to give encouragement, love, support, compassion, forgiveness, and thanks.
 
In doing these things, we complete the circle for all that we receive.
 
There is no time like now to start the gratitude chain, through selfless giving, letters, deeds, and word.
 
Days like Thanksgiving are a nice reminder,
but giving thanks every day would make every day a holy day.....
 
Here is the thought for the day:
 
Thank you Creator of all there is,
 
Thank you for repeating the message when I am not listening,
 
Thank you for my family and friends, who love me, in spite of me;
who help without judging.

Thank you for my Spirit helpers, to whom I must be a source of amusement.

Tragedy and Triumph

Good Morning!
In this life, we have many experiences, and the thing that ties us all together is that we all have these  less than positive things that occur at some point in our life..
 
Some are tragic, some make us angry, some are senseless but, in the grand plan, they are all purposeful...
 
It is never easy to look at these events and find why, but, we can see the changes that they bring..changes in perspective, changes in the way we think, and live.
 
Rather that trying to figure out why..lets focus on what lesson or message does it bring...
 
This change in perspective allows us to remove the victimization of the event, and see that all change, all transition, all of these events have a higher purpose, a higher order to them.
 
Even the most horrific events bring with it an opportunity to grow, lessons for the victim, and the perpetrator..in addition to all of those who are part of it, and those who are merely witness to it, or hear the story....
 
We cannot live under the fear, anger and guilt that these events bring...forgiveness, compassion and love will bring change and the freedom to live......
 
By removing ourselves as a victim,  and allowing ourselves the freedom of a higher perspective, we remove the emotion, allow ourselves the freedom of faith that there is a higher order, and accept that with love and peace...
 
I have experienced senseless tragedy, but I have also seen the most amazing positive changes that it also brings, in some cases, if these events did not occur, ultimately entire lifetimes would have been wasted, and many, many more would have suffered...
 
The needs of the many, sometimes outweigh the needs of the few....
 
Not that we are not allowed to feel, to grieve; but to allow that process, so that we can then release that to the higher  power, as something that will forever shape us, and define us in a new way, and allow us to hear those stories of others tragedies that will bring compassion for others......
 
Compassion that we may never of had if not for our experience, an opportunity for us to bring understanding and inspiration to another....
that there is life after tragedy....

and Courage to see that they do not remain the way they are.

being present

Good Morning!
In our society, it is not easy to be present with things as they come along.
We see them as annoying diversions, and treat them that way too...
 
Seeing the opportunities that are presented to us; to be present, or of service, because we are mentally ahead of where we are now, planning the next "thing to do" or task to be completed.
 
The taskmaster in our head does not allow for synchronicity, or divine timing it is selfish and demanding.
.
This causes us to be unapproachable and it sends a message that we are too busy to care.
 
Busy with what?
 
We may miss a special encounter with someone, or perhaps a messenger, bringing us some insight. Maybe an important opportunity for dialog with our children..
 
In order to do this we must truly weigh the things we do with actual importance, and not get caught in our agenda, or the agenda of others.
 
Some days, other opportunities come along seemingly to divert us; but are they a diversion, or a purposeful encounter, that we would miss by not listening, and rushing by?
 
Allowing ourselves to not take our duties so serious, allowing for spontaneity, shows us how we can also be forcing our needs in the path of others, derailing them, just to meet our deadline.
It can be selfish and careless.
 
Being preset and allowing for the divine order creates Peace.
It silences the inner judge, and allows for the Joys of purposeful encounters into our life...
 
Make someone feel of value, give them yourattention...fully....
 
 Here is the thought for the day
When you are exasperated by interruptions,
try to remember that their very frequency
may indicate the valuableness of your life.
 
Only the people who are full of help and strength
are burdened by other people's needs.
The interruptions which we chafe at
are the credentials of our indispensability.

Children- angels in disguise

Greetings!
I've been apart from my thought for the day. It's nice to be back!
 
I was watching the movie "Angels in the Outfield" with my son, and realized how much these unseen presences watch over us, and intercept things that we are not aware of.
 
I think that some of them turn in their wings and come to Earth to be our children.
I love my kid.
I marvel at his insight, his faith at times is so much stronger than my own, almost as if he has a knowing..that I trust to be Divine.
I ponder his future...
What kind of man will he be...
Have I given him all the things he will need to live a good and honest life?
What will he be?
Hopefully, something that will make him happy.....
I guess I just really appreciate him today as a gift, entrusted to my care...
 
Today's thought is from my favorite poet Kahlil Gibran from the book titled,

It is about children...

Bullies

Greetings everyone!

Believing as I do in the laws of Synchronicity....

I was having a discussion about bullying with a friend, who is having an issue with her son being bullied. I was telling her about the quote that I am including as the thought for the day

 

I came back to my computer, got online and there is an article about Fred "MR" Rogers, and his experience of being bullied. I am attaching the article if anyone is interested on reading a story about this kind and compassionate man.

 

Lack of self-love is fertile ground for people and children who are bullies.

These souls are usually in pain themselves,in addition to being insecure.  

 

It is always easier for them to find the person that is "safe" who will not, or cannot defend themselves in order to unleash upon.

 

Becoming a victim to bullying makes it that much harder to take back your personal power.

 

As a kid, I was relentlessly bullied. To a point of wishing harm on myself and others.

Eventually, you look for someone else or yourself to focus all that pain and anger on.

 

I am hardly an expert, but through my own personal experience; I was a sensitive, eccentric, psychic being. It took me many years to make peace with who I was, forgive and set boundaries.

 

Sensitive people are singled out for this abuse, because we are different.

I did not appreciate my "different ness" as a child.

I was ashamed, and wanted to be invisible.

 

 I have come to find as an adult, that many envy that "dare to be different"-ness about me and there are those that wish to destroy that which they are not.

Fear anger, insecurity making them hurt others.

 

I learned that although we must set boundaries with these spirits, we must also love them for the same light that exists in me exists in them.

 

Lets also look at how we may take our pain, regret and anger and frustration on those that are not deserving of that treatment.

 

Sadly enough, it is usually someone we love, or a perfect stranger, innocently walking down the path of life who becomes the target.

 

Stand your ground.

Set boundaries with compassion and you will regain your Right to Be.

I didn't belong as a kid, and that always bothered me.

If only I'd known that one day my different ness would be an asset, then my early life would have been much easier.

Wisdom

Good Morning!
 
Let my life be an example
In my Successes and my Failures.
Within me is the light of God, the wisdom of the ages,
if I can just have the courage to trust and believe.
To look for that same God light in everyone I meet.
Within me is the teachings of Buddha, Jesus, Gandhi, Mother Theresa and  
of all those who went before me speaking of Love, Peace and Compassion.
It isn't the easy thing that is the right thing...
It is not in my silent acceptance of what I know in my heart that is wrong,
that will make a difference.
It is by having the courage to look into the mirror of my life,
to hold my life up as a mirror to others;
It is by my Word, Deed and Example that I will change the world.

Evolution

Good Morning!
 
The blame game.
 
When we are children, we see out elders as omnipotent beings who know everything, they tell us hen to get dressed, they prepare our meals, they tell us when to go to bed, they tell us who we are. We depend on them for everything.
 
When we become teenagers, we refuse to believe that they could be right, without seeing it for ourselves, we judge and criticize everything outside our limited field of experience.
 
As adults, we see that our elders were humans, doing the best they could, under the circumstances and learn to forgive them and take responsibility for our life. We make choices, and set an example for our children.
 
The interesting thing is that we get stuck in certain phases of emotional and spiritual growth, and do not continue to evolve.
 
Some of us are still children, believing everything others tell us, letting others make our decisions, not trusting our own inner voice, or that of those who are walking their talk.
 
Some of us are adolescents, afraid to be wrong, or opposed to seeing there may be another way to do things, blaming and criticizing and judging.
 
Some of us are adults, and see that we do not have all the answers that failure is an opportunity to learn and seek out guidance from those we respect, by looking at the example they set by their actions and their life. We have learned that there is spiritual guidance by trusting the Universal family; the inner voice that speaks the truth.
 
Our goal is to become the Elder, to trust that all of our experiences are lessons, that we give counsel only when asked, be an example of walking in Beauty, in deed and word.
Loving unconditionally and having compassion for others in whatever phase of growth they may be in.
Trusting that the higher order has purpose and we have all the guidance within ourselves.
That we can communicate with God anytime we are still and present, and knowing when to ask for help.
 
Where are you in the evolution of the self?
 
Here is the thought for the day-
 
The day the child realizes that all adults are imperfect, he becomes an adolescent;
the day he forgives them, he becomes an adult;
the day he forgives himself, he becomes wise.
