Life is like Gardening

Happy Wednesday

Life is like Gardening.

Until you have put your bare hands in the the soil.

Smelled the moist, rich Earth.

Felt the warmth of the Sun.

Gently plant the seeds.

Nurturing, something you grew.

Praying for rain.

Gently tending, weeding, watering in order to bring the abundance of harvest.

Waiting patiently.

Watch a squirrel eat your biggest, reddest tomato.

Gathering the bounty of your labor.

Preparing the meal, and feeding your family.

Or, you could just read all there is to know about Gardening.

Here is the thought for the day:

I wanted a perfect ending.

Now, I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end.

Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

Delicious ambiguity.

What a coincidence!!!  I was just reading on the internet (not 2 minutes ago) about gardening and looking at different flowers, herbs and grasses.  We must be on the same wave-length.  Brilliant minds...  LOL!!!

I enjoy reading your journal.  Looking forward to reading future entries.
