appreciation

Good Morning, Happy Wednesday!!

In this Journey, we meet an amazing number of people, and although we want to keep them with us forever, we can't..

Like our own life, we don't know how long others will cross our path. That's why when we are together, it is so important to be present.

Be thoughtful and kind as possible, because this may be the only opportunity to be with them.....

I have had people I have worked with go to lunch, never to return, and there is a little regret there, because there was no goodbye.

If we can embrace our fellow man as best as we can at the moment, we will be able to release them with love.

Look around you today, imagine never seeing any of these people again.

(I know what your thinking, some of them I would not mind not seeing again!, That's another blog altogether!! lol)

Leave others feeling better for meeting you today.

Give compliments and kindness away as a bouquet of lovely flowers, the Universe with thank you in many ways.

Here is the thought for the day

Low self-esteem is like driving through life with your hand-break on.

Happiness is........

Good Morning!!

Well, we are introducing you to new things today..

I hope all of you can take a few minutes to ponder the reflection today. Peace!

Dharma Dharma is a very complicated word, for which there is no equivalent word in any other language, including English. Dharma actually means that which upholds this entire creation. It is a Divine law that is inherent and invisible, but responsible for all existence. Dharma exists in all planes, in all aspects and at all levels of creation. In the context of human life, dharma consists of all that an individual undertakes in harmony with Divine expectations and his own inner spiritual aspirations, actions that would ensure order and harmony with in himself and in the environment in which he lives.

We are constantly looking for happiness outside ourselves.

Happiness comes when we find peace within ourselves, then radiate that peace to our environment.

As we continue to look for happiness in a person, or a job, or in a situation, we continually are disappointed when what we think we wanted does not manifest. A constant let down.

In order to be truly happy, the focus needs to be;

Who am I?

What do I define as "happy"?

What is in my life, or in my self, that does not bring me happiness?

You will find that the list is simple, and if you see that you have much of it already. Things you really need are brought to you. It opens the flow of abundance, because you are not searching for it, grabbing it; you are allowing the Universe to bring it to you.

We must live peacefully in ourselves before we can create a peaceful world.

Happiness is a state of being.

It is inside, loving who you are and where you are in life.

Here is the thought for the day;

"I'll be happy when...." is the way many people think they are living their lives.

Yet, happiness is not something that happens to you.

Happiness is inside you now.

You are motivated from within.

You only have to allow happiness to surface.

Good Morning!!

I remember being five or six, snuggling with my mother, how she smelled, holding her hand, feeling the skin on her face and telling her how soft it was.....

Then I can't remember exactly when, around when I reached my maiden time, she stopped snuggling, and her attitude toward me changed.

We became separate and confrontational.......

Our puberty years are so delicate, we are strangers in our body, undergoing this weird (interesting) metamorphosis.

I thought for the longest time that I did something wrong and I was now unlikeable...

What I would have given to have the nurturing of my mother then, instead of criticism about my shortness and my swelling emotions that spilled over at any time.....

We become uncomfortable with others shedding emotions, because we're not comfortable with our own.

It's during our transitions that we are like Snake, shedding his skin; momentarily blind and vulnerable, utterly human...

We must look past the emotions of others during their transitions, it is not personal, they just don't have the words to express the myriad of emotions that they are feeling.

Love them anyway.

Be kind anyway....

Nurture each other.

Here is the thought for the day:

When you're drowning, you don't say 'I would be incredibly pleased if someone would have the foresight to notice me drowning and come and help me,'

You just scream.

Break on through to the other side

  Good Morning!

Sometimes we don't have anything to add when we find the right thing to say....

 Here is the thought for the day;

I offer images- I conjure memories of freedom that can still be reached- like the Doors, right?

But we can only open the doors, we can't drag people through.

I can't free them unless they want to be free.

Maybe primitive people have less bullshit to let go of, to give up.

A person has to be willing to give up everything- not just wealth, all the bullshit that he's been taught- all society's brainwashing.

You have to let go of all that to get to the other side.

Most people aren't willing to do that.

My Loius Vuitton carry on...

Good Morning,

Well, the Harvest Moon is above us, I hope it is productive for everyone....

I know first hand how we can reach a difiicult place in life, and just want it over with at all costs, regardless of what we have to sacrifice, just to run away and forget.

All we want the easiest route out.

Well.....we need to embrace the process of finishing......

As painful as it may be, the process is very necessary.....

When we try to escape the feelings, the emotion, it will continue to plague us and it will not allow us to move forward without it tagging along.

These issues that keep revisiting us are doing so because we are not finished, the lesson has not been learned, or we need to change the way we have been addressing the issue...

It is not easy to remain objective, and sometimes help is needed.

Once old issues are effectively purged. it frees up other areas of our life that we didn't realize had been affected.

What suitcase of "goodies" are you carrying around?

Is stuff hanging out, or maybe it won't stay closed....

Either way, it's time to retire that old bag...

There is no room for carry on's, at least not on this Journey.....

Here is the thought for the day......

Sometimes you've got to let everything go - purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything . . . whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it.

Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.

Be prepared!

Good Morning!

The "Harvest Moon" (septembers full moon) is tomorrow.....

All the things we have "planted" in the spring, and that have been growing all summer are ready for harvest, this is the time to bring out , prepare for winter sleep...

The key word here is release and prepare.....

Watch the squirrels, they aren't as playful as this summer...

They are getting busy, gathering, preparing....

Are you prepared?

Some will say "prepared for what?"

When I ask, are you prepared, what is the first thing you think of? ....

THAT little voice that answers are your guides, bringing you a message..

Prepare for peace, prepare for joy, prepare for success, prepare for love.

So lets let go, put those plans into action, and get prepared.

Here is the thought for the day!!

One of life's most painful moments comes when we must admit that we didn't do our homework, that we are not prepared.

Personal Illusions

Greetings Happy Monday!!

Since the full moon is on it's way, it is time to get ready to realize all out plans, projects, "stuff" to the Universe.

Some days, we are desperately trying to make things go our way, in the direction we want, so busy with the nose to the grindstone, that we don't notice that we've gone off course...

Today, lets examine a personal illusion that we have told to ourselves....   Whether the illusion is in a personal relationship, a job, a friendship, or a relationship with ourselves...

Are you a chameleon?  Changing who you are in order to "fit" into your life?  Or are you creating the authentic life to fit who you are?

Do you know who you are?

If not, rest assured, it is not as hard as you think to discover your true self.

It begins with loving yourself. Being gentle with yourself... Seeing with love where you really are, not afraid to take off the blinders.

Because today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Here is the thought for the day;

There are times to cultivate and create, when you nurture your world and give birth to new ideas and ventures.

There are times of flourishing and abundance, when life feels in full bloom, energized and expanding.

And there are times of fruition, when things come to an end. They have reached their climax and must be harvested before they begin to fade.

And finally of course, there are times that are cold, and cutting and empty, times when the spring of new beginnings seems like a distant dream.

Those rhythms in life are natural events. They weave into one another as day follows night, bringing, not messages of hope and fear, but messages of how things are.

Greetings,

Death is the final transition...Condolences to one of our Villagers, we are sorry about your loss....

For those of you struggling with the loss of a loved one, rest assured, they are now one with the Universe and Loved in a way that words cannot convey.

They are there, sending you the same  love as you heal through your own loss.

Here is the thought for the day.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousands winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

the only constant is change

Good Morning!!

Our world is changing and like it or not, we are having to evolve too...

The feeling of being pushed into change is uncomfortable and as willful humans, we want to control what we can't.

Change is constant, and you react to it however, makes all the difference.   My friend the Oak reminded me of our Thought for the day!

Bend to the winds of change, don't be so rigid that you break.

Drive your roots deep, it will provide you balance and stability.

It is that which connects you to Mother Earth, the source of our nourishment and Life.

Allow old limbs to shed, new and stronger ones will take their place.

All the while, reaching up and growing toward the Light.

Making it Happen

Good Morning, welcome back after the long weekend!!

This new moon was a catalyst for bringing unresolved issues to the forefront. It has been an emotionally charged week!!

Now, with all of these things out in the light, what plans can we make for the next 2 weeks in order to bring about change in these areas?...

Now is the time for doing.

Bringing the new moons thoughts and reflections into the physical..to release at the full moon (2 weeks from now).

Time to get rid of things, get a game plan, make a move....

Now is the time... Lets GO

Here is the thought for the day

The Mirror

The Mirror of Me

In a dream I looked into a pool and what I saw was me

But in a gentler version of what we really see.

I was then shown, this pool really does reflect,

everyone I chance to meet, in all things that exist.

As I go about my day, do I see the piece of me,

that lives in everyone I meet, in every bird and tree?

It’s hard some days to see myself in beggar and in thief,

In Gossip and in Poverty as I pass it on the street.

Compassion is the key, how would it be if it was me?

Would I hope to get a smile from everyone I see?

Or would I like them to scorn and scold me for my mistakes

and pass me as so many did, leaving judgment in their wake?

Since I am a piece of God, and walk the Beauty way,

I must help myself up off the street and give encouragement away.

To give a smile.. … You can do It… I can understand.

I can help…what can I do…give a helping hand.

For in the ripples of the pool the reflection is You I see.

It’s hard to tell but I now know that you’re a part of me.

God has a Great Reflecting Pool, and as he looks Within,

In His Great Wisdom sees me inside of Him.

He treats me gently like a child, no matter what mistakes I make,

And all He asks in return is that I might do the same.
