I'd like to teach the world to sing......

There was a time that I could not think of my own death without freaking myself out.

I pondered this issue with care and realized it made me acutely aware of what I haven't done in my life and the guilt over the things that I didn't do well.

I also realized that I didn't have a clear understanding of  belief or faith in something that connects me outside this reality, Like the Universe, or God, Or the Source; overcoming my illusions and  issues with "control."

We are Spiritual beings, having a human experience.

I read a line in a book by Carlos Castaneda, that we are all bodies in process of dying, but act as if we are immortal.

We are all human bodies that will die one day.

But rather than mourn what we haven't done, let's celebrate Life; the chance to be of service, to make the world a better place.

A chance to tell people they are loved, that there is hope, that they can be free.....
.
To leave our children with a secure sense of self, and enable them to think, and live independent of us. Confident in their ability to sustain themselves.

To give away all the things that don't serve us any longer. Hoarding creates scarcity.
Living with less in order to have MORE.

Lighten our burden on ourselves, our society, on Mother Earth and be more sustainable..
Be more physically responsible to our life and our environment, by reducing our dependence.

Be more spiritually responsible by owning our shortcomings and spreading Peace and Love.

Be emotionally responsible by releasing ourselves as a victim of our past and present and   dare to create a mature and accountable tomorrow.

When we do these things, we forever change the world around us.

So when we Cross over to the Blue Road of Spirit..we go with glad heart, ready for the next leg of our journey.......

What if ..................

Here is the thought for the day

"The great sea has set me in motion, set me adrift, and I move as a weed in the river. The arch of the sky and mightiness of storms encompasses me,
and I am left trembling with joy."

AWAKEN

Today, this says it all. Happy Monday!

There is only one time
that it is essential to awaken

That time is now.

This message brought to you by the Universe!

Good Morning!

The people we meet in a day can be pretty interesting.

We need to understand that we are meeting people purposefully at the exact right time for a specific reason.

Whether it is the love of our life, friend, or even the guy who runs you off the road.
None of these meetings are by chance.
They have purpose.

They all have a message about you. They are a mirror for you, you are a mirror for them;

They are a way for the Universe to tell you your loved... .... or to be happy.... or shed your grief.... or move on..... or grow....or slow down...or be considerate...or be grateful...or be kind....be helpful....
Take inventory of the people in your day today, and look for the message...
Here is the thought for the day!

                                               The Mirror of Me

In a dream I looked into a pool and what I saw was me,

But in a gentler version of what we really see.

I was then shown, this pool really does reflect,

Every one I chance to meet, in all things that exist.

As I go about my day, do I see the piece of me,

that lives in everyone I meet, in every bird and tree?

It’s hard some days to see myself in beggar and in thief,

In Gossip and in Poverty as I pass it on the street.

Compassion is the key, how would it be if it was me?

Would I hope to get a smile from everyone I see?

Or would I like them to scorn and scold me for my mistakes,

and pass me as so many did, leaving judgment in their wake?

Since I am a piece of God, and walk the Beauty way,

I must help myself up off the street and give encouragement away.

To give a smile.. … You can do It… I can understand,

I can help…what can I do…give a helping hand.

For in the ripples of the pool the reflection is You I see.

It’s hard to tell but I now know that you’re a part of me.

God has a Great Reflecting Pool, and as he looks Within,

In His Great Wisdom sees me inside of Him.

He treats me gently like a child, no matter what mistakes I make,

And all He asks in return is that I might do the same.

Today

Happy Monday!
What does today have in store for us?.......
Outside of our lists of "Things to Do",
Whom will we meet?
What messages will we be perceptive enough to hear?
Did we stop this morning to be grateful?
Did we put aside our worries and not burden everyone we greet with our woes?
Today is a gift...how will you spend it?........

Here is the Thought for the day!

No matter what looms ahead,
if you can eat today,
enjoy the sunlight today,
mix good cheer with friends today
Enjoy it and bless God for it.
Do not look back on happiness -- or dream of it in the future.
You are only sure of today; do not let yourself be cheated out of it.

Row, row row your boat..Life is but a Dream

TGIF

Dreams and Visions are interesting things.
They are like smoke, wisping and floating taking on new shapes as they go.
The place where the dream starts to take shape enough to transfer into reality is a fragile place.

Dreams and vision..... they must be formed, kneaded, nurtured, cultivated while it is being brought into the physical.
It needs protection form outside factors because no one will truly be able to capture the vision of your dream in the way you do...

Because dreams and visions are of the minds eye, there aren't always words to explain them...In trying to describe a dream to someone, it loses something in the telling, because things of spirit are personal, with references that only you can understand.
They are as much feeling and knowing as vision..

We get excited to share our dreams and visions with others, but sometimes they imagine it in their own way, and cannot truly understand.
Trust that these dreams are from the higher source..

Look at the flack that Noah took from his friends.......
Believe in your visions..Grow them, nurture them, make them real....

Here is the thought for the day!

Your world is as big as you make it,
I know for I used to abide
In the narrowest nest in a corner,
My wings pressing close to my side.

I battered the cordons around me
And cradled my wings on the breeze,
Then soared to the uttermost reaches
With rapture, with power, with ease!

Bowling anyone?

Hi everyone!
Hope your Summer is getting off to a good start!
(June 21)  is Solstice. The official start date!
To make a long story short, we have collected 10 real bowling pins and an old bowling ball, and we have been bowling in the backyard...
(thank you Diane and Mike!!!!).
We've been calling it "Urban Bowling"
It even sounds like bowling, and I'm sure my neighbors are wondering why they are hearing bowling noises...lol
The most interesting thing, is that my neighbors and their kids, who never sit on their porch, or venture out of their yards, have come over to throw a few balls.....and for a minute, forget they're grown up....clapping and jumping when they get a strike...... even getting a little exercise setting the pins up for the next guy.....
The point is, summer is a time for play, a time to find your inner child.... Kids love to see us having fun. It inspires them to be better adults... It's hard to take yourself serious when your bowling between your legs.
Here is the thought for the day.........
Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon.
A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb.
And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air.
Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas.
And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight.
Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in.
With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest.
And  people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with their Imagination.

Lost in Translation

Happy Monday!
With all  the hype regarding the DaVince Code, there is a quest for truth in the life of Christ, a powerful spiritual force and messenger of peace and love.
Many have a hard time believing what they have been taught to believe.

There is an old saying that says that things are "lost in translation"

Armaic was the language of the time of Christ. Here is a literal translation of the Lords Prayer, as it would have been stated by Christ.

Here is a web page that has an audio reading of this in Armaic. It is very powerful.

Have a blessed day

The Prayer To Our Father
(in the original Aramaic)

Abwûn
"Oh
Thou, from whom the breath of life comes,
d'bwaschmâja
who fills all realms of sound, light and vibration.
Nethkâdasch schmach
May Your light be experienced in my utmost holiest.
Têtê malkuthach.
Your Heavenly Domain approaches.
Nehwê tzevjânach aikâna d'bwaschmâja af b'arha.
Let Your will come true - in the universe (all that vibrates)
just as on earth (that is material and dense).
Hawvlân lachma d'sûnkanân jaomâna.
Give us wisdom (understanding, assistance) for our daily need,
Waschboklân chaubên wachtahên aikâna
daf chnân schwoken l'chaijabên.

detach the fetters of faults that bind us, (karma)
like we let go the guilt of others.
Wela tachlân l'nesjuna
Let us not be lost in superficial things (materialism, common temptations),
ela patzân min bischa.
but let us be freed from that what keeps us off from our true purpose.
Metol dilachie malkutha wahaila wateschbuchta l'ahlâm almîn.
From You comes the all-working will, the lively strength to act,
the song that beautifies all and renews itself from age to age.
Amên.
Sealed in trust, faith and truth.
(I confirm with my entire being)

It's all about me, not about you....

Hello all,
It's all about me, not about you....
That seems to be the ongoing message from people in our society. But that way of thinking isn't working anymore.

Times are a changin'

Sometimes we are so consumed with what is going on for us, we forget to be of service, without thought of reward, or pay; just be present and of service to another.

If we can take the focus off the self, and purely give to others, it causes us to see how often we think of ourselves. What does it mean for me?

Giving of ourselves causes us to catch ourselves and check our motives.

Find a way to be of service, even in the simplest form.
You'll be glad you did.

Here is the thought for the day!

If someone listens, or strectches out a hand, or whispers a kind word of encouragement, or attempts to understand a lonely person, extraordinary things begin to happen

What are we waiting for?

Good Morning Village!!!
Happy Monday!

Well.... many plans.... many things happening... I certainly put that new moon to good use!

Let's shoot for getting ONE thing from an Idea to a Reality in the next two weeks.

I would love to hear what that was for you!

Here is the thought for the day!!

'Now' is the operative word.
Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream.
You don't need endless time and perfect conditions.
Do it now.
Do it today.
Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating.
