Let go of the old and embrace the new!

Good Morning all!!!

The end of 2005 draws near...

On Dec 30, we will have the equivalent of a blue moon, which is when we have 2 Full moons in the same month, except, this month we have a Black Moon, or two New Moons in the same month.

This is the only time, for about a year and a half, that we will see the full cycle of the moon in one month.....New to Full to New again.....

This  New moon is a time of completion, of mourning and removing the things that are no longer good for us, and beginning to create out of the darkness the things we want to manifest.

In the Wiccan path, all magic or intention in the Black Moon (second new moon in the month) have extraordinary power. Which is fitting in order to finish the old year and get ready for the New year!

Create a ritual, write it down your dream , chant it, pray it, bury it, burn it.  Make your intentions out loud, and then go about making it happen.

Ask for what you want. Ask for the strength to make it happen. Ask for the courage to move out of bad habits, bad situations, relationships.

A new Year is coming, full of promise, opportunity, hopes and dreams.

Let's make it happen.

Here is the thought for the day!!

It is for us to pray not for tasks equal to our powers, but for powers equal to our tasks, to go forward with a great desire forever beating at the door of our hearts as we travel towards our distant goal.

who am I????

Good Morning!!!!

Lost......one identity, if found please call immediately; possible reward.........

Close your eyes, envision yourself. Do you really know what you look like? Do you know how you sound?

A training tool that I incorporate is recording the sound of your own voice. Just talking on the phone, or having casual conversation.

Because we are outside our own ears, our voice sounds very different.

I was blessed to have a mentor who required we listen to ourselves daily on tape until we liked what we heard.....

I used the annoying space fillers like Ummm, like, uhh, but, and, etc.....

He taught me to stop, and take a breath instead, and eventually, I became aware of how I spoke, of what I said, and the tone and inflection in my voice...

The spoken word is powerful, it projects who we are and what we want, to the Universe...

Are you positive when you speak to others, or negative. Do you ask for good things or articulate fear?

Try this at home, and see what you project. See and hear what others hear by observing yourself in a different way.

Let us know how it turns out......

Here is the thought for the day!!

Looking back you realize,
That a very special person passed briefly through your life;
And it was you.
It is not too late to find that person again.

Are the voices in my head bothering you?

Good Morning!

I was recently presented with a message that was coming to me over and over, but from different directions.

I had my own personal message in meditation, then I met people in the course of my day, who either had the same situation, or told me of someone they knew having the same situation....unsolicited.

That is how the messages come.

It is not like Gabriel's horn, it is not heralding;

"HARK, MARIANNE, WE HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE COMING TO YOU FROM THE UNIVERSE".

It's more like a gentle nudge from the other side. Like a whisper. (Wasn't there an old commercial that said, "If you want to get someone's attention....whisper?")

Well, if you don't hear it the first time, guaranteed, the message will repeat, but from a different source, to change your perception....

Sometimes it can be ongoing like a child, that you are ignoring.... "MOM,MOM,.MOM,MOM"   "WHAT???!!

Try this for one week, try to be aware of the little voice inside...humor it, and you may be in for a pleasant surprise, and trust it more often.....

Our quote is from my favorite poet/medium, Kahlil Gibran click on his name to go to his home page.

Here is the thought for the day-

There is something greater and purer than what the mouth utters.   Silence illuminates our souls, whispers to our hearts, and brings them together.

Silence separates us from ourselves, makes us sail the firmament of spirit, and brings us closer to Heaven;

It makes us feel that bodies are no more than prisons and that this world is only a place of exile.

'Tis the Season!

I was watching TV and I am loving some of the holiday commercials!!

The Vikings for Capital one, the lady licking the chocolate fountain for BJ's.

What would you possibly do with a chocolate fountain? It would probably end up under the counter with the Dice-O-Matic.

I have found myself returning to simpler celebrations.Needing to reinstate ritual and traditions.

Making cinnamon ornaments, stringing popcorn, making paper chains, making a Yule log, pulling out my mother and grandmother's recipe for Christmas cookies.

It's also a way to be present with our loved ones who are on the Blue Road of Spirit, those who have crossed over.

Really thinking about our loved ones and what we could do to celebrate our gratitude for them in our life, possibly including a letter of gratitude with your gift.

It's not the making of things, or gift giving that excites me, it's being together and talking about tradition, about appreciating the people in our life, getting together. Passing that on to children.

This season is about rest after the preparation and harvest of fall, to nurture ourselves and our families. Following the natural rhythms of Winter allow us to hibernate a bit, by not pushing so hard.

It is time to create, reflect, rest. Put all of those pictures in an album, work on a jigsaw puzzle, finish that book that you have been putting off. Drinking tea. Baking, an old recipe. Playing a board game with the kids. Watch family movies.

Whatever your traditions, apply gratitude for the many blessings in your life and share that love with the world.

Here is the thought of the day:

Every person has the power to make others happy.

Some do it simply by entering a room --

 others by leaving the room.

 Some individuals leave trails of gloom;

 others, trails of joy.

Some leave trails of hate and bitterness;

others, trails of love and harmony.

Some leave trails of cynicism and pessimism;

others trails of faith and optimism.

Some leave trails of criticism and resignation;

others trails of gratitude and hope.

What kind of trails do you leave?"

It's a Wonderful Life!

Good Morning everyone!

I was at the video store and bought a copy of :It's a Wonderful Life."

I can hear the groans from here...lol

I have never seen this movie all the way through, I usually came in the middle and never got to see the end.

So...I was a little under the weather and watched it start to finish.

Here is a man, who has expectations, dreams and aspirations, but is always being positioned to be something else...To do something else....To put his dreams away to take up responsibility.

Finally, one day, faced with impending doom, he looks back at the regret and missed opportunities of his life, the seeming insurmountable dilemma facing him, and sees that killing himself would be the best way to leave everyone in a better financial place, since he had a life insurance policy.

So, down to the river he goes ... he stands looking into the water, and out of nowhere, into the river jumps another man...

Being the man he is, George jumps in to save him. Even in his most desperate hour, he looks beyond himself to instinctively do the higher thing.

After pulling the man to safety, the man, Clarence, innocent and odd, tells him that he is an Angel, sent to show him the beauty that is his life. He must convince and help George in order to get his "wings".

George tells the Angel, that it would have been better if had not been born at all, AND SO IT WAS....

As his reality is unraveled, life without him ever existing was decadent, seedy and without love, compassion and joy...The town he loved and the people were suffering and unhappy.

For the ripple effect of his life in this existence, had impacts that even he could not comprehend.

George does not like what he sees, and realizes that he indeed has a a wonderful life, and whatever he is facing is better that never existing at all...

George wanted to go back, he had seen enough, but he lost Clarence the Angel.

So down to the river he goes, and it is there that he steps back into his reality.

He hurries home, to find that, in his hour of need, when he had felt so alone, the man who helped everyone unconditionally, forgot to ask when he was in need

Here came everyone he ever helped, willing to give to the man who had so selflessly gave to them.

Even people who he didn't know, saw this outpouring of love and gave too.

And on top of the pile of money was the book "Tom Sawyer" from the Angel inscribed;

Our thought of the day;

Dear George;-

Remember, no man is a failure who has friends.

Thanks for the wings!

 Love,

Clarence.

It is indeed a Wonderful life.

Let it be

Good Morning! Happy Thursday

In so many cultures and faiths, "the Mother" is the source of unconditional Love, Peace and Harmony. In addition to Creation, Nurturing and Compassion.

There is indescribable comfort in knowing that Our spiritual Mother loves us.

She is there, guiding and loving. She asks that we be honest with ourselves, heal and grow.

She brings Peace in the midst of chaos.

Her message is of Love and peaceful solutions.

In this world, there is much chaos, it is more important now than ever to ask the Mother to bring Peace.

To teach the world to Love.

If you could, offer a meditation, prayer or thought to the Mother, to help us heal, find peace in our own lives and offer that wish for the World.

Today is the anniversary of the death of John Lennon, and our thought of the day comes from him, through the words of his song;

Let it be

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.

For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.

I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

GET A LIFE!!!!!

We wait for life to change before we do.

We wait, and wait and wait for things to be different, for the kids to grow up, waiting for someone else to give us permission to move, grow and change.

I am here to give you permission to live your life.

We sit.... poised, waiting for the doorbell to ring....

A life is not delivered UPS, to our door; we have to go out and look for it.

We must step out of our comfort place and go in search of what brings us joy, what speaks to us.

To learn new things, and have new experiences.

To change your perceptions.

It inspires others, once they see how fun it is and what it has done for you!!!

Here is the thought for the day!!

To be always intending to make a new and better life but never to find time to set about it,  is as to put off eating and drinking and sleeping from one day to the next until you're dead.

You can run...but you can't hide!!!!

Good Morning!!!

Hope the Thanksgiving holiday left you full Physically, Spiritually and Emotionally! New class listings are coming this week!

Have you ever wanted to forget and run from your current situation, and the harder you try to get away, the more stuck you become?

Well, you may want it done and over with, ready to have a "do over" somewhere else, but the Universe may have other plans for you!

Because the lessons aren't always pleasant, we want to run away from the reminders, the emotional pain, guilt.

Needing to change, wanting to change, but not wanting to do the "leg work" that gets us there.

Now.... there is a finishing that has to occur before we are gifted with closure.....Lessons to be learned...Things to be released.....Ownership to be had........

Then, we are free to see what the Universe has planned that is the reward for coming through the darkness.

The more we run from the lesson, the longer we remain there....it follows us like a cloud....the messages getting bigger and more unavoidable.

Everything that is happening to you is by your own choosing, on some level.     The trick is to separate ego and will from what is necessary and purposeful.

Setting down the baggage, going through it, taking with us only what we really need, leaving the rest behind.

Lighten your load, face the lesson...That is living on purpose.

Here is the thought for the day;

I am responsible.

Although I may not be able to prevent the worst from happening, I am responsible for my attitude toward the inevitable misfortunes that darken life. Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life.

I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have - life itself.

Mirror Mirror on the wall.....

Good Morning,

The finger that points out, points three back.

Many Indigenous peoples feel that there are many lifetimes that we will experience. Like a giant wheel, with spokes.

As we journey from one lifetime to another, we will eventually stand on every spoke. Gaining experience from every life. Taking lessons and a change of perception with us when we cross over.

To stand on wealth means eventually you will stand on poverty. To stand on happiness, we will eventually have sorrow etc..

Therefore, we cannot harshly judge the man across from us, because he is us, and you him. It is judging yourself eventually.

Depending on where you have been who you are and the experiences that you have had up until now, will determine how you will perceive something.

For instance, many of us have never been homeless, or hungry, and cannot fathom the plight of the poor or homeless. Most of us do know however, how hard it is to ask for help... We don't want to be judged, or criticized for mistakes.

Many of us will never know the level of need that our path and our circumstances can create in which we have to steal or look for food in the discards of others. Drowning the pain and memories with drugs or alcohol. Over and over, going to the system, a system without compassion, unable to ask for help. Where it's easier to ask a stranger for a buck.

That paints a very different picture?

That will be me...somewhere, sometime..Maybe even next week.

What would I want to happen?

It makes it real for us, it makes uscompassionate, because we can better understand.

Look in the Mirror of those you meet, for the light of the Supreme that lives in you, lives in them also.

Here is the thought for the day! "Mother Nature is the most brilliant of all artists... A mudpuddle reflects a piece of sky marvelously."
-Marcel Proust

Good Morning!

Change begins with me! Let's get invested!

When we're in a relationship, whether it's a marriage, a relationship with our children, career or job; we can get caught in the familiarity, and start to take it for granted.   Then, we don't tend to it with the same vigor as when it was new. Eventually we may find ourselves criticizing our relationship, and the people in it.

Any relationship is like a plant, it needs attention, investment, love, nurturing.

We usually become aware of our own lack of these elements first. Waiting for these things to be done for us.

We become critical, and begin to withdraw, "separating" ourselves emotionally. Then looking for reasons to confirm our feelings.

We become a victim.

Lets change our perspective; if we aren't having these things done for us, it also means that we're probably not doing them for the others in our relationships.

We have also taken the situation for granted, we may not be fully invested or loyal.

Since most of you are at work, lets start with that relationship. You can then try this at home, with kids, wife, husband,or partner later.

Lets write down the things that we are dissatisfied with (I'm sure that will be hard!).

Are you doing all of these things for the others in your space, unconditionally?

Next, lets change perspective; how are you contributing to this? Be honest;   Are you non compliant?

Do you have a bad attitude or passive aggressive with you're boss or coworkers?

Are you negative, or usually complaining?

Do you turn in projects in the nick of time? Or procreastinate, scrambling to complete them?

Does everyone know you are unhappy?

Do you work through lunch, work long hours hoping someone will notice your dedication, as you suffer, silently fuming?

Have you stopped getting dressed up, or stopped putting your best foot forward?

Are you coming in late?

 Do you gossip?

This is sabatoge, it is destructive. Not only to your own situation, but it spreads your unhappiness like a virus to everyone you "share" it with.

Do you have clear dialogs about your issues/conflicts with the person directly, or do you tell everyone but them?

Lack of Loyalty can be the undoing of any relationship.

It can be the unraveling of any business and can cost jobs.

People and companies can't change what they are doing if they don't know it is an issue.

Clear communication, mature dialog, taking ownership, and apologizing can clear the air.

Let's get honest, and be invested by keeping a positive attitude and speaking our truth.

Maybe we've just not been part of the team. Or,  if after setting boundaries, and doing our personal best  we are not satisfied, then maybe it is time to find something that will bring you joy.

You can't change people or businesses.

Find a place that brings you fulfillment.

From the Janitor, to the CEO; we all want validation, appreciation and thoughtfulness.

When we get it, we are willing to give it...

No one wants to do a good job when they aren't appreciated.

You go first and start a chain reaction.

Oh and by the way, feel free to share this with your coworkers.

Have an Awesome Day!

Here is the thought for the day!

The Guy in the Glass by Dale Wimbrow

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.

For it isn't your Father or Mother or wife
Whose judgement upon you must pass.
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

Some people may call you a straight shooting chum
And call you a wonderful guy,
but the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.

He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest
For he's with you clear to the end,
And you have passed your most dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

You may face the whole world down the pathway of life
And get pats on the back when you pass,
But your final reward will be heartache and strife
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

Do your part

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, today is the first day of mercury retrograde, the full Moon and Monday!!!

 Whew!!!!!

I am taking this opportunity to welcome some new Villagers to our daily thought. Welcome everyone!!

Coming into a spiritual awakening can be like gently awakening from a long sleep, or it can be a shock, like someone blowing an air horn to get us up.

The awakening process is constant, every day, two steps forward one step back, an unraveling of old thinking, applying the knowledge as the opportunities arise.

To be "conscious" that the changes in me change the world. To bring that consciousness to the physical world.

Imagine if all of us had compassion, for one other person, there would be no war, no hunger, no loneliness, no fighting.

It truly would be a beautiful place.

Do your part.

Don't worry about what the other guy is doing, what are you doing to bring peace, to share love, to bring hope?

Here is the thought for the day!!

We stumble and fall constantly even when we are most enlightened. But when we are in true spiritual darkness, we do not even know that we have fallen.

Good Morning, what a beautiful autumn day!!

The burning question for humans is;  What is my purpose in this life.

What Divine purpose do I serve?

We are so busy wondering what our purpose is, that we miss the opportunities to be of service every day. It takes the focus off ourselves and turns our attention to others.

It isn't one big thing, our purpose presents itself in little ways.

Are you living each day in Peace? Love?

Applying this to your own life first?

Are you reaching, growing evolving?

Bringing hope, peace and love to everyone you meet?

If not, try applying these exercises to your day;

Lets see our crabby coworker as an oportunity to smile,in spite of the response.

Find one opportunity to be kind, and thoughtful, even if you don't get a thank you, or found out.

Just Listen.

Give hope to someone who is hopeless.

Take your own advice.

Hug one person today that you don't know well.

If we can try to apply this today, it will get easier tomorrow, and may open a whole new world to the burning question, what ismy purpose in life.

Here is the thought for the day!

You can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can
do something about its width and depth.

the power of one

Hello everyone-   I recently watched the movie Gandhi, and then my son had to write about Rosa Parks.

Knowing that all these messages are meant to show us that in the face of insurmountable odds, the power of One stands out.

To take a stand means to set boundries, not through violence, but out of personal integrity and Love. We then inspire others to do the same.

Standing up for what we believe may bring criticism, and personal risk, but it is done for our own personal journey first and formost.

That day, when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on that bus, it may not have been at the time done for all black Americans, she was setting a personal boundry that inevitably changed civil rights and sent a ripple around the world.

Ghandi was just a man, who united a country, fought foreign invasion, in bare feet and a loin cloth. Without weapons. His personal intergity, faith and love spoke to millions, and still does even today.

Make your life your art, fashion it to bring you peace, love and joy and you will inspire others to do the same.

That is the power of one.

Here is the thought of the day;

Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.

blessed silence

With the beauty of Autumn around us, take some time to be in the beauty of nature.

Lay on your back and watch the leaves fall, and strike up a conversation with  our friends in the natural world.

Here is the thought for the day!

Well, son, I'll tell you:
Life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
It's had tacks in it.
And splinters,
And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor -
Bare.
But all the time
I'se been a-climbin' on,
And reachin' landin's,
And turnin' corners,
And sometimes goin' in the dark
Where there ain't been no light.
So, boy, don't you turn back,
Don't you set down on the steps
'Cause you finds it's kinder hard.
Don't you fall now -
For I'se still goin', honey,
I'se still climbin'
And life for me ain't been no crystal stair.

Please, Please, Please, listen to your inner voice.

Good Morning everyone!!

We do not have the luxury of time to live in denial.

I see denial as a place, where we can hide.

Life goes on in this place, but it is not fulfilling, healthy or beneficial to our path or our higher purpose.   Denial is an excuse to do nothing; to not acknowledge what is really going on and to make changes.

It requires that we take responsibility.

Living in denial is selfish. It affects everyone around you, because they are not getting the truth, which they deserve. They are then ill prepared when our personal illusion is shattered and upheaves their world too.

As you are reading this, everyone is being reminded of things that we do not want to acknowledge, even though our inner voice has reminded us over and over and over again.

Your inner voice is not your own. It is the voice of Creator, the Universe, Guides, Angels, Ancestors; calling your name, asking you to listen to the truth.

Today, our thought of the day is about removing the blinders of denial to the things in your life that need your attention. To free you from an illusionary life.

To then be able to speak your truth, take care of business, and take responsibility, not just for yourself but for the sake of everyone around you.

For some it is ignoring our health, others unlived dreams, bad relationships whatever your illusions, there is help, all you have to do is ask, you don't have to face it alone.

I am asking everyone to not ignore health screenings. Myself included.

Please, schedule your Mammogram, Pap, Prostrate, chest xray, bloodpressure, cholesterol, EKG, ECHO, WHATEVER!  Because We love you, the Universe Loves you, your children love you, your mother loves you, your friends love you.  The life you save may be your own. If you don't want to go alone, find someone to go with you.

 Here is the thought of the day;

"Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them."

~ Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941)
Indian Hindu mystic philosopher

Who left all this garbage in here?

Happy Tuesday all...

As we unload all the unnecessary things from our life, and space, lets get the creative juices flowing and find excitement in the unknown.

There are good things at work for you, ready to make their appearance, once the old burdens are out of your life.

Dwelling on the past, guilt and anger take up a lot of room in our hearts, and it clutters our space.

There is no room for the Divine to work if you have no room for new and improved things in your life.

So, which is it?

The old stuff which is out of style, hazardous to your spiritual health and just ugly; or what's behind curtain number two?; The new, better and unknown thing?

Here's a hint, garbage day is Tuesday, and this offer will expire...

Take the curtain!

Here is the Thought for the Day!

If we always do what we've always done,
We'll always get what we've always got.
And if nothing changes... nothing changes.

Blaze your own trail. others will follow

Happy Halloween.

Today is the first day of the new moon, the month of the grandmother Walks tall woman...

The lesson this month is to lead by example..

If we can rise high, and observe ourselves, do we set a good example of what it is to be a man, a woman, a parent a leader, a teacher, a friend?

It isn't our words that change others, it is our example.

More people find encouragement by watching us succeed. Watching us overcome difiiculties, make changes in our life.

We are good at giving advice, make sure we are also taking our own advice.

Here is the thought for the day!!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?'

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Creating the Dream

Good Morning and TGIF   Well, the new moon will be upon us this weekend and coming week, right on Halloween. For those of you following the Jamie Sams book of Native American daily meditations.. this is the coming of an end of the 10th moon of the year..This month is in regard to Creation. (we are on page 291)

Our life is a reflection of what we have created.

It is created thorough out thoughts our words and our actions..

It is a little unraveling to see that the life we lead is our own doing, and undoing. We have blamed others for so much of our own pain, stagnation, fear, and sadness, that we have not dreamed the Dream and allowed the Loving force of the Universe, Creator  and our ancestors to help us.

During this dark moon, lets allow ourselves to mourn the past, and allow the joy and excitement of the future, as we open ourselves to our awareness of our thoughts, words and actions and how they have created the life you life today.

By allowing the loving creative Force to flow in our Life we will inspire others to look at their own and find the courage to Create the Dream.

Here is the thought for the day!!!!

Only those who truly love and who are truly strong can sustain their lives as a dream.

You dwell in your own enchantment.

Life throws stones at you, but your love and your dream change those stones into the flowers of discovery.

Even if you lose, or are defeated by things, your triumph will always be exemplary. And if no one knows it, then there are places that do.

People like you enrich the dreams of the worlds, and it is dreams that create history.

People like you are unknowing transformers of things, protected by your own fairy-tale, by Love.

Greetings everyone

Well... time to put in the storm windows, clean up the yard, put everything away for the winter. It is time to get the physical "Cave" ready to enter the time of Bear.....

Bear represents the West on the Medicine wheel, it is a time of introspection,  a time to "hibernate" and look within, to review and create new dreams in this time of twilight slumber...

Once the dreams are dreamt, we then begin working on them in order to bring them out in the Spring...

It is very important to honor these cycles. It places us back in the natural order, harvest and preparedness so we may embrace the rest period of Winter.

See how this time of Bear is at working you life now.

Do you find yourself wearing black? Looking to self help, informational and inspirational materials? Feeling like nesting, cleaning and de-cluttering?

So, get the cave ready, prepare to look within and get inspired.

Here is the thought for the day!!

Little men with little minds and little imaginations go through life in little ruts, smugly resisting all changes which would jar their little worlds.

Change the world- change you

Good Morning,

I know with all of the gloom and rain we are all feeling like mushrooms...

If you are currently not excited about life, then this is for you.

The only thing stopping us from joy is ourselves.

We make conscious choices every day to be exactly where we are. (yes, it's true)

On our Spiritual journey, we came here with a TO DO list.

But there were no details...

Over and over we are presented with situations, people, and information that is encouraging us to make the most of this one way trip.

Why be content to stay parked in the garage, when there is a world of opportunities to Love, be Loved, have Joy, bring Joy, have Peace, bring Peace, have Hope, bring Hope.

Start with today, and if that is too difficult, start with the next five minutes.

Make a promise to Live, to Love, to bring Joy.to bring Hope.

To make a difference in your own life. You deserve it, and so does everyone who knows you.

The life is nothing without experiences. Isn't it time to make some new memories?

Here is the Thought for the day!!

As my favorite motivational speaker Zig Ziglar says;

"You might not be able to change the world, but when you change your world, you have taken a major stepin changing the world. And when you change your world for the better, you have positioned yourself perfectly to change the world of those around you."

Love, Compassion, Peace

Good Morning,

There are still classes available for Serenity Sunday! click on the sites below!! We can even bring classes to you!!

There is so much material out there, self help, spirituality, the same messages over and over, Boiling down to;

We are all connected by the supreme source (God, Goddess, Creator, the Source, the Universe) and through each of us flows the same light, in all that exists. That how we treat others impacts us all.

Compassion, Love, Service, Peace.

Sounds great in theory, but when faced with the opportunity to be Compassionate, are we?

Do I find that piece of me in my observation, or do I judge?   Do we step out of our routine to do the higher purpose?

Or do we pass up these opportunities because we would be inconvenienced?

Do we unconditionally love another to become involved, take emotional risk?

Doing the right thing means stepping out of the crowd.

Sometimes it means being exposed to criticism.

Use these opportunities today to apply all this spiritual knowledge, bring it into the physical world.

Look at the World and say, how can I be of Service today?

How can I Love the World and others today?

What is the Peaceful solution?

How can I be Compassionate today?

Here is the thought for the day   God will not ask you when and where you did service? He will ask, with what motive did you do it? What was the intention that prompted you? You may weigh the service and boast of its quantity. But God seeks quality - the quality of heart, the purity of mind, the holiness of motive.

Personal power

Good Morning village!!!! Even when we have been enlightened to the Spiritual path, trusting that Creator and our guides, angels and helpers are at our side, can be overshadowed by our very human selves.

Doubt and fear..... There are triggers for all of us that bring us away from the Truth; ego, drama, chaos, old relationships, fear, lack of self worth, insecurities....

These things are just living in the dark half of ourselves.

These moments are a reminder that we are still human, but now, we have spiritual solutions...Like a lantern in the cave..

Everything seems bigger and scarier in the dark, but shed a little light on it, take back your Faith and personal power, and now it is just something to solve, to learn, to embrace, and move through...It is purposeful. (and we don't stay in the dark for so long anymore!!)

Peace, Love and Joy......that is the litmus test for a blessed life.

Here is the Thought for the day!!

When we take back our power, and remember that we are Loved;

a child of the Light and Creator...

the dark is illuminated for the illusion that it is.

Oh, Suzie, can you come out to play!????

Good Morning!!! Happy Friday!!!

In this life, we find that allowing ourselves to be young, and free, is something to be sacrificed to be "Grown-up". Then as the physical body changes and ages, we find it increasingly noticeable. Our attitude increases our physical aging.

It's always easier to see the solutions to life's problems outside of ourselves...Rather than looking at what inside you is keeping you from Joy. Being in love with Life and yourself, draws love to you.

Our society pressures us to nip and tuck, and alter the physical to regain youth.

It's not a facelift that makes you younger; attitude and the simple joys of living make us younger, regardless of or chronological age, regardless of the aging of the body.

A smile and joy in your step does more for your physical appearance and general wellbeing  than cosmetic surgery. It gives you a lift, inside and out!

Play and creativity allows us to accept being adult in a way that makes us care less about the physical aging process..

It is a rite of passage, merging our child, with our internal teenager, and our adult and eventually our elder...

Taking all of those points of view, and merging them to create one balanced human being.

A true elder combines all these parts to become much more.

When I was a kid (what do you mean was?) In order to go to a friends house and ask them to play was called "Calling for them"..It even had a little song to go with it... You would go to their house, stand outside the door and yell that song.....lol

I think parents let their kids out just to make us stop...

Hey, back then we weren't allowed to use the phone, unless the house was onfire!

OH Su-zie! Can you come out to pla-ay?

We're calling for you....yes you......

Play inspires us to be creative, it allows us to lift our spirit beyond the physical world, by engaging our imagination, our higher self.

Some of us never learned to play; what a joyful awakening that would be!

Through creative play, we can find solutions, laugh, be spontaneous, and be happier.

Come to our creative play class and discover your inner child.

Here is the thought for the day !!

Work and play are words used to describe the same thing under differing conditions
